M.A.C cosmetics created the Studio Fix Stick Foundation range in over 33 shades – assuring people that whatever their skin type or however they liked to express themselves, M.A.C has them covered.
Knowing personalisation creates better connection, conversion and ongoing brand conversation, we made sure that this was the experiential ‘tissue’ that held all of our creative thinking together. Getting personal would demonstrate true insight into modern make-up needs, whilst building brand love and understanding for more ongoing authentic communication.

Working with acclaimed illustrator Alexandra De Assunçao, the exterior of the studio became a live mural reflecting the true diversity of M.A.C users – inviting real people to be depicted within the design itself.
Then entering inside, the ‘We’ve Got You’ wall literally reflected the thousands of empowering angles of anyone that stood for a picture in front of it.
Finally, expert M.A.C ‘Shade Match’ consultations identified visitor’s unique foundation colour codes from the Studio Fix Foundation range, with these applied to any product purchased on the day at the #GetYourFix personalisation station.
