To celebrate the festive season, Pokémon created an unmissable destination at Westfield London – a 5.5-metre Plushmas Tree, built from 800 Pokémon plushies. Designed to delight Trainers of all ages, the installation combined iconic Gallade imagery with Insta-worthy product displays, making it a must-see spectacle in the North Atrium.
The goal? Drive online sales at the Pokémon Center during the key holiday period, disrupt busy shoppers, and spark UGC to extend the experience far beyond the mall.
Visitors were invited to explore the installation and scan QR codes for a chance to win exclusive prizes – driving traffic directly to Pokémon’s DTC online store.
A virtual mechanic also ensured fans everywhere could get involved, whilst giant digital OOH placements throughout Westfield amplified the buzz even further.
The results made for a very happy Christmas all round.
